My children are back at school and it's for me to get back to writing. I found a website that might inspire me to write called FictionPress. It's a site where authors/writers share their work and offer feedback on other people's stories. I'm hoping it helps me gauge interest so I know what my readers want.
So far, it appears my science fiction/romance piece entitled, The Victus, is not doing so well. Whether it is the premise of the story, the writing itself, or perhaps the pacing, I can't say; however, I do know that compared to my other three stories, it is not being read. Whereas my revamped version of Lost in Transylvania now Lost in Chesapeake, is doing very well, as is Vampires of the Chesapeake: Nicholas Schild.
A brand new story that I am testing is a time travel romance, Travels of Lady Downham. Only one chapter is completed at this point and I need to amp up my writing time. Hopefully, this week will find my fingers flying over the keyboard instead of surfing the internet!
